Lydia is a dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in gynecologic oncology at the Center of Hope. Originally from Eastern Washington, Lydia attended Western Washington University for her undergraduate degree. After graduation, she moved to Reno and worked in Natural Resources, but soon realized that her true calling was in medicine. Lydia then enrolled in the PA program at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), and graduated in 2020.
During her time at UNR, Lydia did a rotation at COH, where she fell in love with the patients and the staff. Upon graduation, Lydia was thrilled to accept a job at COH and has been a vital part of the team since October 2020.
Outside of work, Lydia enjoys spending time with her husband, Miguel, and their love for outdoor adventures. They enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, and backpacking, which allows them to take advantage of the beautiful landscape that the area has to offer.
